The GP Race v2 suit is a multi-layer suit designed for all-round drivers racing in advanced competitions, conforms to FIA standard 8856-2018 and has an athletic regular fit and a three-layer construction:
one layer of aramid twill and two layers of aramid base knit.

Conforming to FIA standard 8856-2018, the GP Race v2 suit has an athletic regular fit and a three-layer construction:
one layer of aramid twill and two layers of aramid base knit.

In this assembly, breathability is increased by 5% at a low weight of 400 g/m².
The suit also features stretch panels for maximum comfort at the armholes, lower back and crotch.
A larger and longer back panel aids rider flexibility and range of motion, while internal flatlock seams, a fully free arm and extended shoulders add comfort and rider comfort.

The FIA standard 8856-2000 may still be produced until the end of 2021 and may still be used until max. 2029.
The FIA standard 8856-2018 is becoming mandatory step by step in the following racing series:
2019: Formula E
2020: F1, WRC (priority 1 teams), WEC
2021: WRC (all teams), F2, WRX, ERX
2029: all other competitions

With FIA 8856-2018 a manufacturer certificate is required. Subsequent printing of overalls and underwear is therefore no longer permitted!
Nothing changes for the previous embroidered clothing. Patches can be attached later (only with fireproof thread)
